With humble beginnings in a town in Burkina Faso, West Africa, Sondo began braiding and styling hair for her daughter and other neighborhood women. It was apparent from a very young age that Sondo had a passion for hair and beauty. She later blessed Harlem with those talents and is now one of the most prominent African Hair Braiding Salons on the East Coast of the United States.
